In this piece I ask what it would look like if we trusted out children to explore museums and other cultural spaces guided by their own interests, rather than curating their visits in a way that reproduces the many school-based assumptions about how they learn.

In this piece I suggest opening a dialogue about how children’s daily life can be more free, fun, socially connected and meaningful, rather than accepting that summer camp is a special thrilling “bubble” that they have to wait 10 months to experience again.
